Lyles College of Engineering

Fresno State has offered engineering courses since 1922. Today, the Lyles College of Engineering offers seven undergraduate degree programs: Architectural Studies, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The College also offers four graduate degree programs: Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Students may also minor in Aerospace Engineering, Cybersecurity, Geomatics Engineering, Construction Management, and Electrical and Computer Engineering. A new blended program provides opportunities for students to earn both a BS and MS degree in five years. Faculty and students are engaged in a wide variety of research and projects supported by external grants from various local, regional, and national agencies, foundations and industries. Lyles College alumni are successful. For over a century, Lyles College graduates have propelled the greater Fresno region forward through innovation and design, succeeding in both public and private sectors as presidents and CEOs, engineers, constructors, astronauts, innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and more.
