For the past 40 years, the College of Health and Human Services has been preparing the next generation of health and human service professionals. The college is home to two of the three doctoral programs on campus, more than 3,700 students and 250 faculty and staff members. Each year, CHHS graduates more than 1,000 future health and human service professionals dedicated to transforming the quality of life for the residents of our region.
Our student success fund supports important college initiatives such as stipends for conferences, internships, undergraduate and graduate research, as well as aiding in advising and projects crucial to the academic success of our students and educational programs.
Nearly 60% of CHHS students are from the Central Valley and are first-generation college students. For many of them, the support of financial aid and scholarships are essential to completing their college degree on time. Gifts to this fund are an investment in the health and human service leaders of tomorrow!
Your support of the College of Health and Human Service's Silent Garden Education Fund enables us to offer world-class lectures free of charge to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals, families, educators and professionals.
