Since 1911, the University has grown to impact every facet of our region. Today, the College of Arts and Humanities provides the finest cultural education in the San Joaquín Valley. Through transformative intellectual engagement with the written and spoken word, as well as the production of the visual and performing arts, our diverse students courageously forge their own identity by grappling collaboratively with ambiguity, complexity and ethics while communicating empathy for others. College of Arts and Humanities graduates benefit our community and the wider world with the application of their creative talents to the greater good.

Dean's Council Annual Fund

The Dean’s Council inspires life by supporting the College of Arts and Humanities (CAH) mission of intellectual and artistic exploration. Your gift to the Dean's Council is divided equally between the Dean's Council Scholarship Endowment and the Dean's Discretionary Fund. The Dean's Council Scholarship Endowment provides scholarships and student assistance to every department and discipline within the College. The Dean's Discretionary Fund supports curriculum enrichment, research funding, technological and artistic support, as well as unique, unexpected, and crucial needs.

The Dean's Council plays a critical role in cultivating the personal and academic development of our students. For less than a dollar a day, you can help an Arts and Humanities student work toward their dream. Become a Dean's Council member for approximately $20 a month or $250 annually!
