General Scholarships

Fund a scholarship to propel our Bulldogs into academic success. Approximately 80% of Fresno State students stay in the Central Valley to contribute their skills and knowledge to our community. Your investment enriches the vitality of our entire region by removing financial barriers to academic achievement.

Student Cupboard

Provide a meal for a student in need, and ensure that our Bulldogs have the nourishment necessary to focus on their studies. The Amendola Family Student Cupboard is a free food pantry for currently enrolled Fresno State students. Students are able to choose from a variety of free food and other essential items, including fresh fruits and vegetables, non-perishable canned and boxed items, dairy and non-dairy products and various meat options.

Bulldog Bound

Bulldog Bound guarantees admission for participants in the program and prepares students for their time in college. Fresno State Bulldog Bound ensures that qualified students have a clear, tangible path to a college degree. Fresno State will support students and their families with admission preparation as early as 9th grade.

The Learning Center

Sponsor textbooks for students in need, alleviating the financial burden of educational materials. One of the most effective and highly valued academic resources on the Fresno State campus is the Learning Center. By employing research-driven strategies, the Learning Center helps students improve their understanding of course content and enhance their grades. Through free online and in-person tutoring and academic coaching, thousands of students each semester take significant steps toward achieving their college goals. The Learning Center is a hidden gem on campus, responsible for countless academic turnarounds and playing a key role in helping students stay in school and complete their degrees. Your support will allow us to continue providing the latest materials and innovative learning approaches for our dedicated Bulldogs.

Parent Scholars

Support our students who are parents with funds that address a variety of needs, such as our diaper program and school supplies for children. Your support will help the 1 in 5 students who are raising kids at the same time that they are pursuing their education. 40% of parenting students report feeling disconnected from their college community, and 20% feel unwelcome on their campuses.

Veterans Resource Center

Support our Veterans Pursuing an Education. At Fresno State, the Veterans Resource Center is committed to helping veterans, reservists, guard members, active-duty service members, and their dependents access financial support for their educational journeys. After being admitted to Fresno State, our center uses various VA educational programs, including scholarships, grants, and other forms of financial assistance. Our website offers detailed information on these programs and step-by-step instructions on how to apply them at Fresno State. We take great pride in supporting our veterans and their families, ensuring they have the financial resources to succeed academically. We honor their sacrifices and value their life experiences, which enrich our university community with diversity and strength.
