Missed Fresno State Day of Giving? You can still be a champion of student success!

Fresno State Central Funds

The President's Circle for Excellence

The President’s Circle for Excellence directly supports students in their pursuit of a higher education. Your gift of $1,000 or more supports essential programs that remove barriers students face — things that we may take for granted, like the need for food, access to technology or financial means when facing a short-term setback.

Fresno State Annual Fund

The annual fund gives a boost to programs and projects needing a little “extra fuel.” Your gift helps students with scholarship support, leadership development and learning experiences that prepare them to serve and lead in the communities where they will work and live.

The Maddy Institute

The Maddy Institute provides selected Fresno State students with up to $6,000 in scholarships to intern in Federal and State legislative offices in Washington, D.C., Sacramento and throughout the Valley.  Your donation will allow a Fresno State student to experience the legislative process firsthand and set them on the path of public service for the Valley—whether that be in government, business or a non-profit organization.

Over the last 20 years, more than 400 Legislative Scholars have benefitted from these scholarships and gone on to make a difference in their communities as State Assembly Members, County Supervisors, Mayors, City Council members,  District Attorneys, and Chiefs of Staff for members of Congress and the State Legislators, as well as college professors, leaders of Valley nonprofits and Presidents, Vice Presidents, CEOs of Valley businesses.

We urge you to consider “paying it forward” by making an investment in the next generation of Valley leaders with a donation to the Maddy Institute.

Office of IDEAS

The Office of IDEAS (Innovation and Digital Excellence for Academic Success) provides high-level professional development opportunities in the areas of open educational resources, accessible course content, technology, innovation, and pedagogy. You can support three areas under the Office of IDEAS.

  • Center for Faculty Excellence: Our Center for Faculty Excellence provides professional development, growth, and collaboration across disciplines. Professional development is the conscience of the faculty because it provides a space for faculty to reflect on what they do, why they do it, and how to improve it. Your contribution will support programs like Equity Minded Pedagogy, Advancing Inclusive Mentoring, Zero Cost Course Materials, and many more.

  • Digital Excellence for Academic Success: The vision of our office of Innovation and Digital Excellence (IDEAS) is to collaborate and implement effective and holistic professional development opportunities for all faculty that has a positive influence on teaching pedagogy, service, and research while supporting our diverse student population to attain their personal and professional goals. Our team ensures that our campus has outstanding academic technology support and high-level professional development opportunities in the areas of open educational resources, accessible course content, inclusion, and pedagogy. Your donations will be used for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to events, awards, and resources needed for programming and activities that will benefit our faculty, staff, and students.

  • DISCOVERe: Our program works to empower the next generation of leaders by giving them the digital technology and support they need to succeed during their time at Fresno State. Along with our continued efforts to support students with the newest technology, we also work with our DISCOVERe faculty members to rethink what is possible within the classroom and how our students learn. Your support today will go to our continued efforts to provide the most impactful technologies and strategies for learning in the classroom.
