Missed Fresno State Day of Giving? You can still be a champion of student success!

Kremen School of Education and Human Development

The University’s roots date back to 1911, when the doors of the Fresno State Normal School opened to just 150 hopeful future teachers. Today, the Kremen School of Education and Human Development carries on this legacy and focuses on improving education in our region by preparing educators who can effectively work in linguistically- and culturally-diverse settings. The Kremen School's emphasis on leadership for diverse communities provides a foundation for transformative programs, partnerships and residencies in urban and rural districts across the Central Valley. In addition to our work in teacher education, the Kremen School leads in the preparation of counselors and higher education leaders while providing doctoral-level preparation for educational administrators.

Fresno Family Counseling Center

The Fresno Family Counseling Center provides low-cost, high-quality counseling services to residents of Fresno County and the surrounding area. The Kremen School’s Master of Science in Counseling students train at this facility, thus advancing our goal of collaborating with the region in activities beneficial both to the community and the University.

Kremen Student Equity Scholars

The Kremen School is excited to continue an initiative that bolsters diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism efforts in higher education through equity-driven outreach efforts, research, and responsive leadership. Your support will help us fund Student Equity Scholars who will work with the faculty Equity and Social Justice Fellow and engage in teaching, research and community engagement projects to address issues of social justice throughout the Valley.
