Since 1911, the University has grown to impact every facet of our region. Today, the College of Science and Mathematics graduates the next generation of STEM leaders to collaboratively solve complex, regional and global challenges that include food, water, energy, health and the environment. The college provides abundant opportunities for innovative laboratory research, fieldwork and community-based learning experiences to over 4,200 students. In addition to preparing the next generation of scientists, mathematicians, teachers, technicians, health care professionals and researchers, the college also serves our community as an objective source for science education, literacy and solution generation.
Dedicated to serving students from economically and/or educationally disadvantaged backgrounds that have an interest in pursuing a career in the health and allied health professions. Graduates of this program attend prestigious health professional schools and come back to serve in the Valley. By supporting this program, you’re helping students on their journey towards health careers, thereby increasing the number and diversity of health care professionals in the Valley.
College of Science and Mathematics Dean’s Circle - alumni, businesses, and friends who strive to promote and support the College of Science and Mathematics and future innovation. Donations to the Dean’s Circle will provide funds for curriculum enrichment, research, travel funding for students and faculty, technological and logistical support, and funding for the college’s unique and unexpected needs.
The College of Science and Mathematics outreach program is designed to engage the community in various activities that showcase the exciting research, innovation and learning happening at the college. Programs like Physics Outreach to local elementary schools, on and off-campus demonstrations, as well as programs that reach out to community colleges.
