Help us build the SECREd Gardens - an outdoor demonstration garden that will be utilized by Fresno State students and community members. The garden will support the growing need for play-based outdoor learning, science experiences, and garden-based education while also providing a space for interdisciplinary research across campus.
One of the largest barriers for young adults in the South Valley to pursue higher education is transportation. Now, the Fresno State Visalia Campus offers a program where they can earn their bachelor’s degree and teaching credential without having to leave their communities. Your gift will go to the South Valley Education Initiative which provides support for these future South Valley teachers.
Our teacher credential students must complete observations in local school classrooms, traditionally done on-site, this must now be completed electronically. Help us provide our students with essential tools, such as iPads, microphones, software, and training, so they can complete the state-required teaching observation hours and enter the teaching field confident in distance learning.
