The foundation to success- Basic Needs Endowment provides a wide variety of resources necessary to assist students, allowing them to focus on their studies and future careers. Our goal of $25,000 will establish an endowment that will support, but is not limited to, the following Basic Needs programs at Fresno State:

The Dream Success Center provides advising, guidance, and academic and emotional support for AB540 or DACA students. It ensures access and success through advocacy and outreach and provides holistic services for personal, social, and academic support. The Dream Success Center is committed to empowering students through a welcoming and supportive environment.
Renaissance Scholars Program is the academic retention program supporting incoming freshman, transfer, and continuing undergraduate students who experienced foster care, unaccompanied homeless youth and other independent youth certified by the Financial Aid Office. The program is committed to students’ success from college entry through graduation. The Renaissance Scholars Program creates a warm environment where students’ belong and can thrive!
