The President's Circle for Excellence

The President’s Circle for Excellence is a group of loyal alumni and friends who support President Saúl Jiménez-Sandoval in affording the University the flexibility to address its most critical needs.

For nearly 30 years, the President’s Circle for Excellence has played a crucial role in championing Fresno State students by providing essential support that enhances their educational experience and personal growth. These contributions help fund scholarships, innovative programs, and vital resources that empower students to achieve their academic and professional goals.

Last fiscal year (July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025) President's Circle for Excellence partners made a huge impact:

• Over $286,000 raised
• Over 25 students received scholarships or financial aid support
• Over 85 students were granted Good Samaritan awards to provide relief from unexpected circumstances
• $15,000 for the Global Governance Study Abroad program
• Helped to fund various student belonging and inclusion initiatives such as AIS Native Initiative to increase the number of Native American students enrolling in and graduating from Fresno State
