College of Health and Human Services

Since its inception, the College of Health and Human Services has strived to prepare the next generation of health and human service professionals. The college is home to two of the three doctoral programs on campus, more than 3,700 students and 250 faculty and staff members. Each year, CHHS graduates more than 1,000 future health and human service professionals dedicated to transforming the quality of life for the residents of our region.

CHHS Student Success Fund

Our student success fund supports initiatives like our honors program which provides scholarly, creative and motivated upper-division students with enhanced educational experience through advanced study and interdisciplinary engagement with their peers. Additionally, your gift creates important opportunities such as stipends for conferences, internships, undergraduate and graduate research, as well as aiding in advising and projects crucial to the academic success of our students and educational programs.

General Scholarships

Nearly 60% of CHHS students are from the Central Valley and are first-generation college students. For many of them, the support of financial aid and scholarships are essential to completing their college degree on time. Gifts to this fund are an investment in the health and human service leaders of tomorrow!

Silent Garden Education Fund

Your support of the College of Health and Human Service's Silent Garden Education Fund enables us to offer world-class lectures free of charge to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals, families, educators and professionals.

CHHS Experiential Learning Opportunities Fund

For many CHHS students, impactful learning opportunities extend beyond the walls of a classroom or campus setting. With your help, students will be provided with travel and admission resources to access experiential learning through internships, conferences, events and field trips.
