Kremen School of Education and Human Development
The University’s roots date back to 1911 when the doors of the Fresno State Normal School opened to just 150 hopeful future teachers. Today, the Kremen School of Education and Human Development carries on this legacy and focuses on improving education in our region by preparing educators who can effectively work in linguistically- and culturally diverse settings. The Kremen School's emphasis on leadership for diverse communities provides a foundation for transformative programs, partnerships and residencies in urban and rural districts across the Central Valley. In addition to our work in teacher education, the Kremen School leads in the preparation of counselors and higher education leaders while providing doctoral-level preparation for educational administrators.

This program provides aspiring educators with the knowledge and skills needed for success, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Preliminary Teaching Credential as quickly as 1 1/2 years sooner than traditional programs. Your contribution will directly support scholarships, internships, clinical experiences, and professional development opportunities, ensuring the next generation of teachers is well-prepared.
